Dutch in-company training
Let's Speak Dutch offers a unique and effective training programme for expats working in a Dutch or international company in the Netherlands. Contact us directly for the options or scroll down to read more about our Dutch in-company courses.
About our courses:
Our in-company courses are designed both for employees who want to feel more quickly at home in the Netherlands and the company where they work and for more advanced employees who want to professionalize the Dutch language for their work.
Our lessons go beyond sitting in a room between four walls. We create many interactive and practical situations. Think about role plays and assignments ‘in the wild’ such as a tour around the office building, have small chats in the office at the coffee machine, the reception, in the lunchroom. If possible, you can even practice what you have learned in a nearby lunchroom, supermarket or railway station, all during class.
We are a small and personal organization with short lines of communication. The teachers who work with us are carefully selected and fully fit our company mission and teaching style, so that we can ensure a pleasant learning environment and good results as much as possible.

About trainer Mylène
I'm Mylène Hanson, the founder of Let's Speak Dutch. I've been a Dutch language trainer since 2008 and earned my PhD from Utrecht University in 2002, specializing in teaching in multicultural groups. I have a background as an educational advisor and training teacher at the Hogeschool van Utrecht. In 2009, I began teaching NT2 (Dutch as a second language) to expats, both in groups and one-on-one.
My Dutch-Indonesian heritage enables me to relate to those building a new life in the Netherlands from a different language and culture.
At Let's Speak Dutch, our approach is interactive and practical. We use role-plays, real-life situations, songs, and videos to help our course participants achieve their language goals. Whether you're a beginner or advanced student, our focus is on real-world language skills, making learning enjoyable and effective.

-
This need not be a problem if you can do the homework for the missed lessons. Optionally, you can schedule a one-off one-to-one online lesson with your tutor for a fee.
-
In principle, lessons are taught live. Only in exceptional cases, we can do one lesson online or a student who has to miss several lessons can participate via Zoom.
-
In principle, no, unless you exceptionally want to schedule an online lesson at extra cost.
-
You will spend about 2 hours per week on homework.
-
If you occasionally fail to do your homework, it is not a problem, provided you report it in advance so that the teacher can take it into account. However, not doing your homework more often is a problem because you will fall behind and hold up the group.

Please do so as soon as possible, the sooner we know, the better.
